Rising Child Poverty Rate Demonstrates Need for Strong Investments in Children

New data from the U.S. Census Bureau finds 500,000 more children living in poverty than last year. With more families with children feeling the economic squeeze, Voices for America's Children called for greater investments in programs that ensure that every child is raised in a stable environment and has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
