Studies from University of Pittsburgh, Department of Neurology reveal new findings on Alzheimer disease therapy

New research, 'Effectiveness and safety of donepezil in Hispanic patients with Alzheimer's disease: a 12-week open-label study,' is the subject of a report. According to recent research from the United States, "Hispanics represent 10% of the U.S. population and are the fastest growing group. Studies show a higher prevalence and incidence of Alzheimer's disease (AD) in Hispanics than in the non-Hispanic white population, with an earlier age of onset."
