America Celebrates Aging in Place Week, Oct. 12-18

The National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC) is proud to announce Aging in Place Week 2009, a nationwide celebration of America's seniors. To commemorate this event, groups of service providers across the country are planning educational and entertaining events from October 12 to 18 to help seniors age comfortably and healthfully in their homes.

NAIPC will celebrate Aging in Place Week by launching a new website on Wednesday, October 14 -- www.ageinplace.org. The hope is for the site, designed by American Eagle, to become America's Senior Support Network and help link seniors with services in neighborhoods all across the country.
