New FOCIS centers to advance clinical immunology research

A new international outreach effort, developed by the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies (FOCIS), will assist institutions throughout the world that focus on clinical immunology to provide better patient care and enhanced clinical research.

Centocor, Inc., is supporting FOCIS' initiative through an unrestricted educational grant. Centocor recognized the centers receiving the grants at the FOCIS annual meeting in Paris, France. FOCIS has been successful in aligning several partners in addition to Centocor in their efforts; additional significant sponsors are expected to join this initiative over the next several years.
