Biopharma company selects contract research organization to support phase IV arthritis program

Pacific Biometrics, Inc. (PBME) has been awarded a contract with a biopharmaceutical company to provide essential laboratory data for a global phase IV arthritis program. This contract is part of a series of studies related to the clinical development of new indications for a major biological treatment for arthritis. PBI is specifically contracted to provide specialty biomarker testing relating to bone and cartilage turnover and synovial inflammation as part of a major, multinational phase IV clinical development program.
