Pharma firm to develop therapy for acute radiation syndrome

Hollis-Eden Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (HEPH) has formally advised the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) of its intent to respond by the February 8, 2006, deadline to a request for proposal (RFP) for medical countermeasures to mitigate or treat neutropenia alone or in combination with comorbidities associated with acute radiation syndrome (ARS).
