No increased efficacy seen in trial of low-dose total body irradiation for melanoma

A phase II trial of low-dose total body irradiation (LTBI) and subcutaneous interleukin-2 in metastatic melanoma revealed no indication of increased efficacy or altered toxicity. According to a study from Denmark, "Our own experimental data suggests a therapeutic synergism between low-dose total body irradiation (LTBI) and interleukin-2 (IL-2).
