Preliminary positive results from study of rheumatoid arthritis treatment reported

ZymoGenetics, Inc. (ZGEN), a biopharmaceutical company, announced positive preliminary results from a randomized, placebo-controlled double-blind phase 1b clinical trial of TACI-Ig in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients. "The results of this study are very encouraging," said Nicole Onetto, MD, senior vice president and chief medical officer of ZymoGenetics.
