Research from Stanford University provides new data about angiogenesis

According to recent research from the United States, "Angiogenesis, formation of new vasculature, is critical to cancer growth. Agents that block angiogenesis, in particular bevacizumab, a monoclonal antibody that binds vascular endothelial growth factor, the key ligand in angiogenesis, have become all important option for many patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)."
