2011 JUN 8 -- A report, "Regulatory T cell defect in APECED patients is associated with loss of naive FOXP3(+) precursors and impaired activated population," is newly published data in Journal of Autoimmunity. "The pathogenetic mechanisms of organ-specific autoimmune diseases remain obscured by the complexity of the genetic and environmental factors participating in the breakdown of tolerance.
