Proof-of-concept results of prostate cancer drug published in cancer journal

Procyon Biopharma Inc. (TSX: PBP) announced that its scientists and collaborators from McGill University have published in Cancer Research.

The article entitled "A Synthetic 15mer Peptide (PCK3145) Derived From Prostate Secretory Protein (PSP-94) Can Reduce Tumor Growth, Experimental Skeletal Metastases And Malignancy Associated Hypercalcemia" demonstrates the efficacy of PCK3145 in reducing tumor volume and delaying the development of skeletal metastases in a preclinical Mat Ly Lu model of prostate cancer.
