Pharmaceutical firm reports 11% increase in revenues, provides clinical update

A.P. Pharma, Inc., (APPA), a specialty pharmaceutical company, reported financial results for the 3 and 12 months ended December 31, 2004, and provided a clinical pipeline update.

A.P. Pharma reported royalties for the fourth quarter of 2004 of $1,457,000, compared with $1,291,000 for the fourth quarter of 2003, an increase of 13%. Fourth quarter royalties on sales of Retin-A Micro and Carac grew by 10% and 18%, respectively.

Contract revenues totaled $25,000, compared with $67,000 for the fourth quarter of 2003. Total revenues for the fourth quarter of 2004 totaled $1,482,000, compared with $1,358,000 for the fourth quarter of 2003, an increase of...
