Global sales of ADHD drugs are forecast to reach $4.3B by 2012, according to report

Research & Markets has announced the addition of Espicom Business Intelligence's "CNS Drug Discoveries: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder" Chapter to their offering.

Among the findings: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is now the 9th largest segment of the central nervous system (CNS) market by sales with growth of 8% year-on-year.

The value of the ADHD market was $2.6 billion in 2005. Global sales of ADHD drugs are forecast to reach $4.3 billion by 2012.
