URS to Support Air Force Base Realignment and Closure Project

URS Corporation (NYSE:URS) announced that it has been awarded a major new task order under a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract to provide engineering and construction services at bases worldwide for the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE) under the Heavy Engineering, Repair and Construction (HERC) contract. The task order has a maximum value of $99.9 million, including approximately $89.9 million in a base bid plus $10 million in options, over a two year period.
