DNA-expression company files for patents for antibacterials, antifungals

CytoGenix, Inc., (CYGX) has filed new patent applications for "Nucleotides for Prevention and Treatment of Bacterial and Fungal Pathologies" under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) of the World Intellectual Property Organization.

The company has also filed for protection for the invention titled "Intracellular Generation of Single-stranded DNA" under national phase PCT filings in 12 countries, including France, Germany, Switzerland, China, India, and Israel, and the company received a publication date for the PCT application filed for the invention titled "Treatment of HSV-Related Pathologies Using ssDNA."
