Institute deploys software for automation of protein crystallization.

Formulatrix said that the department of biophysical chemistry at Max Planck Institute has successfully deployed Rock Maker and Rock Imager for automation of protein crystallization.

Martin Kollmar, group leader of biophysical chemistry department at Max Planck Institute said, "We were looking for a software solution that not only allows for designing and tracking of crystallization experiments, but also operates liquid handling and imaging robots."
