OnSiteDocs launches at-home urgent care, changes name to Carena

OnSiteDocs announced the formal launch of a next-generation care model which, the company states, delivers high-quality medical care and treatment to patients with urgent needs in the comfort of their own homes. The company also announced a new name: Carena, Inc.

Carena has been piloting the service, called Carena Urgent Care, since April of this year with a base of more than 40,000 participants which it says it expects to increase to 80,000 in January 2007. Under the program, board-certified physicians treat employees and family members with urgent healthcare needs at their home.
