Universal Health Services, Inc. (NYSE:UHS) announced that its reported net income was $49.5 million, or $.92 per diluted share, during the first quarter of 2007 as compared to $51.1 million, or $.88 per diluted share, during the comparable prior year quarter. Reported income from continuing operations was $49.6 million, or $.92 per diluted share, during the first quarter of 2007 as compared to $50.5 million, or $.87 per diluted share, during the first quarter of 2006.
