Advamed Commends Passage of FDA Revitalization Act

AdvaMed President and CEO Stephen J. Ubl issued the following statement today following U.S. Senate passage of the FDA Revitalization Act (S 1082), which includes language reauthorizing the medical device user fee program and other device-related provisions:

"AdvaMed commends the Senate for its swift and bipartisan approval of legislation that will help ensure American patients have timely access to the latest lifesaving and life-enhancing medical technologies. The Association would particularly like to thank Senators Edward Kennedy (D-MA) and Michael Enzi (R-WY) for their leadership in moving this important piece of legislation expeditiously through the committee...
