BG Medicine Files US Registration Statement with SEC in Support of Euronext Amsterdam IPO

BG Medicine, Inc. announced it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a proposed Initial Public Offering (IPO) of its common stock. All of the shares to be offered will be sold by the company. The number of shares to be sold and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined. BG Medicine intends to apply for its common stock to list and trade on Euronext Amsterdam by NYSE Euronext under the symbol "BGMDX".
