Gustavo Cisneros: Miss Universe 2008: Another Triumph for Venezuelan Women

Gustavo Cisneros, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Cisneros Group of Companies, said that the triumph of Dayana Mendoza, Miss Venezuela 2007, in the Miss Universe pageant held on July 14 is yet another of the many triumphs of Venezuelan women in all areas of public life.

In an interview broadcast by the Venezuelan national television network Venevision, and hosted by former beauty queen, television host and entertainer Mayte Delgado, Cisneros noted that Miss Venezuela's victory represents another great step forward for Venezuelan women on the world stage and that these talented and accomplished women are outstanding ambassadors of their country.
