"Today the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported our 10th straight month of job losses as well as a 0.4% increase to the unemployment rate. Throughout 2008 we've seen national unemployment and job losses corresponding directly with increasing market turmoil, decreasing consumer confidence and the continuing credit crisis.
