Mr. Clean Discovers Moms Want the Gift of a Clean Home for Mother's Day

The economic impact of the recession is redefining traditional Mother's Day gifts, finds a recent national survey conducted by Mr. Clean, which shows 52 percent of mothers(1) prefer a complete home cleaning versus a day at the spa as a gift this year.

"It's abundantly clear that lavish gifts are out of style this year," says Jessica Denay, co-founder of the national organization, The Hot Moms Club. "I make sure I stay in touch with the latest trends and I've seen shifts in family routines and celebrations this year. Mr. Clean's 'Keep It Fresh' survey results show that a clean house is at the top of mom's gift list. ."
