Dawn Milstead Joins HealthAmerica(R) as Vice President of Health Services

2011 JUN 10 -- Dawn Milstead has accepted the position of vice president of Health Services for HealthAmerica. In this position, Milstead will oversee HealthAmerica's statewide prior authorization, concurrent review, case management and appeals operations. She will be responsible for managing all utilization management activities, as well as coordinating NCQA accreditation and HEDIS reporting.
Prior to joining HealthAmerica, Milstead served in various leadership roles with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida for over 20 years. Before working in the health insurance industry, Milstead worked in clinical nursing.
