Endeavor III clinical trial begins

Medtronic, Inc., (MDT) has begun enrollment in the Endeavor III clinical trial in the United States.

The first implant in the trial was conducted by Charles O'Shaughnessy, MD, Elyria Memorial Hospital, Elyria, Ohio, on February 19, 2004. Endeavor III is a clinical trial evaluating the safety and efficacy of the investigational Endeavor Drug Eluting Coronary Stent and is being conducted at 30 sites in the United States.
