Increased false-negative rates reported with new breast cancer staging system

The revised classification system for axillary sentinel lymph nodes defined in the sixth edition of the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) staging system for breast cancer led to higher false-negative diagnosis rates in a study from Canada.
