Advanced multiplexed protein labeling technology described

Agilix Corporation announced that it has successfully applied its i-PROT proteomics technology to clinical samples for biomarker discovery in drug development. At a meeting of the American Society of Mass Spectrometry (ASMS) in Nashville, the company presented data on the use of i-PROT technology to find biomarkers in the serum of patients with various stages of rheumatoid arthritis. As with many diseases, early detection using protein biomarkers may allow for earlier and more effective intervention.
