Doctor caps century of family's practice

In their practice of medicine, the Inglis doctors of Columbus, Ohio, specialized in the circle of life. They "brought people into this world and helped take them out," hospice nurse Kyna Collier said.

The work of three generations of physicians, two obstetricians and a pulmonologist, continues to intersect.

William Darling "Bill" Inglis III, MD, a lung specialist and a hospice pioneer in Columbus, recently provided end-of-life care to a patient delivered by his grandfather and namesake, William Darling Inglis I.
