Nutrition technology company reports new study reports sports drink

PacificHealth Laboratories, Inc., (OTCBB: PHLI) reported on the results of a new independent study that showed ACCELERADE was superior to Gatorade in improving endurance and reducing muscle damage post-exercise.

The study, reported in the July issue of Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, the official journal of the American College of Sports Medicine, was funded by and conducted at James Madison University.

In the independent trial, cyclists consumed either Gatorade or ACCELERADE and completed an endurance test to exhaustion. The athletes returned 15 hours later for a second endurance test. At that time, blood samples were drawn to...
