Life sciences-focused legal firm hires two expert biotech patent attorneys

Cooley Godward LLP announced that Geoff Karny and Jayme Huleatt, two patent attorneys specializing in life sciences, have joined the firm's Patent Counseling & Prosecution group.

Karny comes to Cooley from Gene Logic Inc. where he was vice president of Intellectual Property. Huleatt joins Cooley from the Washington D.C. office of Foley & Lardner, where she served as special counsel in the Biotech/Pharma Intellectual Property Group.
