Regenerative medicine company announces appointment of chief executive officer

Nick Higgins has been a non-executive director of Intercytex since its formation in 2000. Until his appointment as Intercytex chief executive officer, Higgins was chief business officer at Acambis plc where he was responsible for all commercial activities.
He was a key member of the Acambis team since its formation and transition from a private to a public company.
His particular areas of expertise include licensing, M & A and strategic alliances.
