DecisionPath inks contract with U.S. Social Security Administration

The U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA) has awarded DecisionPath Consulting an order worth $973,000 to develop requirements and design the system for measuring performance of Medicare Prescription Drug application processing.

Faced with mounting pressure to reduce the costs of delivery for existing services and to roll out new processing tasks such as those mandated under the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement and Modernization Act of 2003, SSA has embarked on an aggressive program to modernize the way it collects, organizes, and provides management and financial information to all levels of SSA management.
