Partial CD8+ T-cell depletion of PBMC ASCT insufficient to prevent GVHD

Partial CD8+ T-cell depletion of PBMC allogeneic stem cell transplantation is insufficient to prevent graft-vs.-host disease.

According to a study from the United States, "Prior studies suggest that depletion of CD8+ T cells from donor bone marrow or donor lymphocyte infusions can reduce graft-vs.-host disease (GVHD) without compromising graft-vs.-leukemia.
