Blue Care Network of Michigan rolls out new product

Blue Care Network of Michigan is now offering a new flexible health plan, Blue Elect Self-Referral Option, which gives members the cost savings and health management benefits of an HMO, but also allows them to self-refer to any Michigan doctor.

Blue Elect coverage is available now for coverage starting July 1, 2005.

"Blue Elect gives customers coverage that helps employees stay healthy and see any physician," said Jack Gray, a regional sales director for Blue Care Network and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan products. "Groups who've felt that Blue coverage was out of reach will be pleasantly surprised."
