The company has filed an application with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to become a provider of the new Medicare prescription drug plans beginning in 2006.
Part D will provide Medicare beneficiaries with much needed prescription drug coverage for the first time in Medicare's 40-year history.
