Methamphetamine detection kit to be tested in five states

International drug detection firm Identa Corp. (IDTA) announced that police departments in five U.S. states are scheduled to begin field testing its newest drug detection kit for methamphetamines.

The announcement comes just weeks after the U.S. federal government unveiled new efforts on the war against amphetamines and methamphetamines.

In making the announcement Yaacov Shoham, IDTA CEO said, "Every person involved in use and verification of drug testing products of this caliber must be comfortable with not only how to use correctly these products, but also confident they will be able to withstand all forms of legal scrutiny."
