"A series of poly(vinyl alcohol) amphiphilic derivatives have been prepared to obtain polymeric aggregates in aqueous phase holding thermodynamic instability. The aim was to evaluate their ability to interact with tumor cells eliciting selective cytotoxicity," scientists writing in the journal Biomacromolecules report.
