The 3dMDface photogrammetry system (3dMD, Atlanta, GA, U.S.) provides highly accurate anthropometric data, suitable for use in genetic research.

"The genetic basis for complex phenotypes is currently of great interest for both clinical investigators and basic scientists," researchers in the United States explained.
