Los Angeles County, California, extends contract for information systems

The County of Los Angeles, California, has agreed to extend its current contract with Health Management Systems, Inc. to maintain county public health and managed care information systems.

Under the contract - which runs for a 2-year term with two optional 1-year extensions - HMS will continue to provide proprietary software solutions and data management services to the county's Office of Managed Care.
