Healthfirst selects American Specialty Health to administer chiropractic benefits

American Specialty Health (ASH), a complementary healthcare benefits organization, will administer chiropractic benefits for Healthfirst members in the state of New York.

Beginning January 1, 2006, ASH subsidiary American Specialty Health IPA of New York, Inc., (ASH IPA-NY) is providing access to chiropractic network and administration services for 28,000 of Healthfirst's Medicare and commercial HMO and POS members in the Kings, New York, Queens, Nassau, and Bronx counties of New York.
