Amarin reports Miraxion improves stress hormone transport

Amarin Corp. plc (AMRN) reported that preclinical data from a study conducted at the University of Valencia, Spain, demonstrates that Miraxion (ultra-pure ethyl-eicosapentaenoic acid (E-EPA)) may improve stress hormone (such as cortisol) transport through the blood brain barrier. The investigation was conducted by professor M.V. Bermejo, Department of Pharmaceutics, University of Valencia. It is expected that the details of this work will be published in a peer reviewed journal.
