Positive results reported in trial of imaging device for pulmonary embolism diagnosis

Agenix has completed a phase 1b pulmonary embolism (PE - blood clot in the lung) trial in Australia in a comparative study against computed tomography pulmonary angiography (CTPA) demonstrating that ThromboView has the potential to be highly beneficial in the diagnosis of PE. Images acquired in this safety study, which evaluated 14 patients, all positive for PE by CTPA diagnosis, demonstrated high concordance between ThromboView images and CTPA findings.
