HIV-1 vaccines were safe in healthy HIV-1-uninfected volunteers

Results from a phase I clinical trial indicated that a DNA- and modified virus Ankara-vectored human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) vaccine administered alone and in a prime-boost regime was safe in healthy HIV-1-uninfected volunteers.
