Thyroid disease patients' RV function impairments were detected with tissue Doppler

The tissue Doppler technique is a suitable tool to detect right ventricular function impairments in patients with associated thyroid disease. According to a recent report from Turkey, "Thyroid gland dysfunction affects the structure and function of the heart.
