Simulations Plus releases software for pharmaceutical formulation research

Simulations Plus, Inc. (SLP), a provider of simulation and modeling software for pharmaceutical discovery and development, announced that it has released version 2.0 of its DDDPlus software product.

DDDPlus (Dose Disintegration and Dissolution Plus) is unique software for pharmaceutical formulation research scientists that enables them to predict how changes in drug formulation or changes in experimental setup are likely to affect dissolution rate. Dissolution rate is a critical parameter in the development of drug dosage forms, in making generic versions of existing drugs, and in quality control for production.
