Reports from Spain, Canada and the United States add new data to hepatitis C virus research

Data on hepatitis C virus are outlined in reports from Spain, Canada and the United States.

Study 1: According to recent research from Spain, hepatic venous pressure gradient identifies patients at risk of severe hepatitis C virus (HCV) recurrence after liver transplantation (LT).

"Liver biopsy is essential in the follow-up of HCV-infected liver transplant recipients.
