Beckman Coulter Signs Agreements With Premier, Inc. to Provide Medical Laboratory Instruments and Supplies

Beckman Coulter, Inc. (NYSE:BEC), the leading manufacturer of diagnostics instruments in the U.S., announced that effective April 1, 2007, it has been awarded new agreements with Premier, Inc., to provide a full range of core laboratory systems and supplies. Premier is the nation's largest healthcare purchasing network, with more than 1700 member hospitals.

Under the terms of the three-year agreements, Premier members will continue to purchase automation, general chemistry, immunoassay, integrated workcells, and hematology products from Beckman Coulter. They will also start accessing the company's complete range of hemostasis systems and supplies. Premier members...
