ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Announces Proposed Public Stock Offering

ACADIA Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq:ACAD) announced the filing of a preliminary prospectus supplement to its effective shelf registration statement previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed underwritten public offering of 5,000,000 shares of its common stock. In connection with the offering, ACADIA also plans to grant the underwriters an option to purchase up to 750,000 additional shares of its common stock. All of the shares are being sold by ACADIA.
The book-running managers for the offering are Banc of America Securities LLC and Lehman Brothers Inc., the co-lead manager is Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., and the co-managers...
