Survey Shows Alabamans Expect Transparency, Accountability From Attorney General

More than three out of every four respondents in the state said that all contracts that Alabama's attorney general makes with outside lawyers should be posted on the Internet for public inspection. More than 85 percent of those surveyed also believed that the AG should require outside lawyers working for the state on a contingency fee basis to keep detailed records of their hours and specific work performed.
