Amyris Biotechnologies Announces New Board Member and Additions to Its Biofuels Management Team

Amyris Biotechnologies announced the addition of energy industry veteran Ralph Alexander to its Board of Directors as well as key additions to the senior management team.

Amyris Biotechnologies, founded in 2003 by Dr. Jay Keasling, Professor of Chemical Engineering at U.C. Berkeley, and his three post-doctoral fellows, is the leader in second generation biofuels research using microbial factories to make environmentally friendly fuels.
